I was invovled in the exoplanet detection hackathon which involved using python and Machine Learning to analyse and preprocess the data obtained in form of fits files and then plotting the light curve for the star of the exoplanet from which relevant parameters about exoplanet can be inferred.

I was involved in the short term project of plotting HR diagram from the ccd image data. This project involved preprocessing the images to eliminate noise and then detect the stars from the image and find their total pixel count ,then plot the absolute magnitude of the stars against their stellar classification.
