Python, Astropy and various tools for Processing
Took part in 3 day Exoplanet Workshop held by the Astronomy Club where we were taught the basics of using python in Astronomy, how to use ML in Astronomy and finally we applied the knowledge to process actual data.
Exploratiory project to study about how the colors are defined and used in astronomy. Used python, astropy and matplotlib to plot various graphs like black-body radiation we have already seen, and devising techniques to determine the temaperature of stars using their 'colors' and Wien's Law. I learnt the use of UBVRI filters, passbands and how to process FITS files.
Part of a team to design a star tracker. Designed 3d parts using CAD softwares. Ongoing.
