About
Hello there! I am a third year undergraduate student under Electrical Engineering. I have always been interested in Astronomy, and for me, it is a hobby as well as a potential career path. I am interested in stellar physics, cosmological phenomena as well as some other aspects related to my branch such as radioastronomy and antenna design. I am also an ML enthusiast and have an interest in embedded systems design.
As for my hobbies, I love creative writing, speaking about topics I am interested in and debating.
I am also addicted to fantasy novels!!!
Involved in the Exoplanet detection project. Used light curve data from stars from publicly available datasets to detect exoplanets in the star systems.
Organised a Hackathon with other members and taught the participants about the techniques involved, the python tools required to do the project.
Conducted an quiz in the campus in collaboration with other members. The quiz saw a good participation and was received well.
Conducted an open online quiz in collaboration with other members. The quiz saw a massive participation online and we got great reviews.
Used a horn antenna to record radio signals from different parts of the galaxy and calculated the rotational speed of the H1 cloud in those areas. This data allowed us to plot the Rotation curve of the Milky Way.
