About
Greetings!
I am Siddhant Rathi, an Electrical Engineering Sophomore at IIT Indore. I joined the Astronomy Club in order to
work in a field which I once used to follow (long ago, :P). I am generally interested in exploring all the wonders of nature that
surroud us, be it through an optical telescope, signal processing, or even a microscope (made all of them during quarantine!). The physics
and engineering aspects of astronomy also interest me to some extent. A lot of my learning pursuits at present are directed towards Physics, Mathematics,
Logic, and Philosophy (yep!). I keep 'inventing' problems, and (most of the times) solutions to them. Well, that's it.
"That which I cannot create, I do not understand".
Helped in procuring and assembling the parts of the antenna which was used for capturing the signals from the pulsar of interest.
Was a part of the 3 day exoplanet detection workshop-cum-competition conducted by the club.
Helped in organising an expert talk on SETI by Dr. Eric Zackrisson, conducted jointly by DAASE and the club.
